The purpose of this module is to enable you to develop a range of transferable, interpersonal, academic and subject specific skills that will assist you to succeed in your studies and workplace. 

This module is focused on you as an individual, on your personal development and career development needs. It is a not a taught module however your learning will be facilitated by your Work Based Learning Tutors, who will provide support through group briefings and individual reviews and by signposting you to additional resources to supplement your own research.   

As part of this module you can explore your initial level of competence by completing diagnostics based on the apprenticeship standard, and throughout the first year, consider your learning and leadership styles, and interpersonal and communication skills, through the use of a range of diagnostic tools and self assessments. 

You will be able to review how your learning from different modules has informed your leadership and management practice and how you have applied skills you have developed in the work place.
