Description / Aims / Rationale | Through this module you will develop academic and professional skills relevant to university study and professional practice as an Early Years practitioner. You will be introduced to concepts such as reflection, critical reading and writing skills alongside early research ideas. This is offered in the first year to ensure that you are given a firm grounding upon which to advance theoretical and academic skills, preparing you for all aspects of undergraduate study. In addition, you will be supported in securing and starting a professional placement in preparation for the Early years practice: becoming an early years professional module. . |
